Waitlist Procedure
When a spot becomes available, the league coordinator will release you from the waitlist. When you are released, you will receive an email informing you that you need to complete your registration and payment. We ask that you do this AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Please make sure that the email on your account is a reliable way to contact you. If you do not complete your registration and payment within the requested timeframe, your release status will expire and prevent you from completing the registration. You may lose your spot if you delay. We may still be able to re-release you. If you later decide that you do not wish to remain on the waitlist, let us know and we’ll remove you from the list.

About Our League
Grass Roots Ultimate Spring League is for adult mixed teams that are selected by volunteer captains based on a draft system. We provide the means for family members to play together on the same team (via player requests, aka “baggage”).

We offer two division of play: A and B. The B division is appropriate for beginners, mentors, and those casual players who are comfortable supporting beginner level play. The B division tends to be more social, offering opportunities to practice and socialize outside of the scheduled game times. The A division is appropriate for more experienced players. Less experienced, but highly athletic players may succeed in the A league with the right support. Please contact us if you have questions about which league is right for you.

Weather Cancellations
Weather in Colorado can vary incredibly, especially in spring—rain, snow, and high winds possible. We will assess the playability of the fields each week. If games must be canceled, we will make an announcement on the website, on our hotline (303-661-0664), to gru-chat, and to the captains no later than one (1) hour before the start of scheduled games. Spring season 2008, we have the option to cancel only early games when it appears that conditions may improve. If a given round of games is canceled, captains and their teams will have the option to reschedule their games for later in the day or on another day as a make-up. We appreciate your understanding when games are canceled on a day that turns out to be lovely. The decision is often made outside of our control and/or far in advance due to the need to make notifications.

Lost and Found
If you either lose or find something at the games, you may contact our Lost and Found Coordinator at lost.found@gru.org.

Parents
We are trying to organize parents in our community in the hopes of creating/supporting child care options during games. If you’re interested in this initiative, send an email to parents@gru.org.

Volunteers
This league and our organization is wholly run by volunteers. If you have an interest in helping us help you, please let us know. We can use help with both game-day operations as well as other support and outreach activities.
