Grass Roots Ultimate offers four coed recreational leagues each year: spring, summer, fall and winter. Most seasons are split into two divisions: A and B. A is for more advanced, experienced players. You should know how to mark, throw forehand and backhand, know the basics of vertical/horizontal stack and zone formations, and have a working knowledge of the rules. B includes beginners, anyone not comfortable moving up to A, and those wishing to mentor other B players. A lot of teaching is involved in B league. This is a great social aspect of B league. Players under 18 years of age should play youth league or B league. We use a draft system to create teams: players ranks themselves individually and then are drafted by volunteer captains onto teams. This keeps the teams somewhat even on skills and expands our community.
March to June, Sundays on available fields in Boulder County or Broomfield County. Registration begins in February.
June to August, weeknights in Boulder. Registration begins in late April or early May.
September to November, Sundays on available fields in Boulder County or Broomfield County. Registration begins in August.
