Spring Development League
This spring, GRU will again offer a Developmental League for individuals looking to improve their Ultimate skills.
Dev League – Advanced
This League is geared towards players who are familiar with the fundamental concepts of Ultimate (such as Force, Zone O & D, etc) and have achieved reasonable proficiency with both forehand and backhand throws (i.e., able to throw and complete 15-20 yards consistently).
Dev League will be offered on Tuesday nights March 23rd through May 11th from 6 to 8 PM at Summit Middle School (map below) and will focus on developing and refining advanced skills (break mark throws, quick decision making) and introducing advanced game strategies (horizontal stack, force middle, transition D, string plays).
The cost for the Development League will be $25.

Sunday Clinics
For those players who are newer to the game, or looking to improve consistency in individual skills, GRU will also offer FREE one hour clinics prior to B league games. These clinics will focus on each individual’s need and provide personalized instruction to help you improve your throws, mark, or whatever else you can think of. The clinics will be low impact and not very physically demanding, so you will be warm but still have plenty of energy for your B League games.
