In 2011 GRU founded the Spirit Scholarship to support exemplary youth who participate in Grass Roots Ultimate programs and will be attending a four year college or university.

Over the past 20 years GRU has supported many worthy causes. Primarily the support comes from proceeds raised during GRUB but overages from other GRU events are also donated.
